Scott Paterson films

Scott is a multi-award-winning Director, Writer, and Producer known for emotionally resonant, character-driven work that bridges independent and commercial filmmaking. Scott is former award-winning actor best known as Johnny DiMarco on Degrassi: The Next Generation, for five seasons. His projects have toured internationally and earned acclaim for their cinematic depth, most recently including Bell TV1’s Little Women Big League. Mentored by top industry talent such as Olatunde Osunsanmi (Star Trek Discovery), Christopher J. Byrne (American Gods) and Oscar Winner Luke Matheny (the Baby-Sitters Club), and a seasoned 1st Assistant Director with the Directors Guild of Canada, Scott brings vision, authenticity, purpose, and precision to every project he leads.
